Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of GuardTrail's website, mobile app, and web control room (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use GuardTrail on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.

The Service

GuardTrail provides security-workforce management tools including live GPS tracking, patrol verification, alertness checks, incident and activity reporting, and client live-view. Features may evolve; some capabilities are Android-first with others planned for later platforms.

Accounts & acceptable use

• You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for the activity of users you invite.
• You will use the Service only for lawful security operations and in compliance with applicable employment, privacy, and surveillance laws.
• You will inform your guards and staff of monitoring as required by law and your agreements with them.
• You will not misuse the Service, attempt to breach its security, or resell it without our written agreement.

Free tier & trials

The Starter tier is free for up to 5 guards. Pilot and founding-partner offers may include a free period as communicated at signup. We may change the limits of free offerings with reasonable notice.

Fees & billing

• Paid plans are billed per guard, per month, in your local currency, with no setup fee and no minimum.
• Plans are month-to-month — you may cancel at any time; the service continues until the end of the paid period.
• Founding-partner pricing, once granted, is locked for 12 months from signup.
• Payments are handled by third-party processors; their terms also apply.

Data

Your data remains yours. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are the controller of your guards', staff', and clients' data; we process it to provide the Service.

Availability

We work to keep the Service reliable, including offline-first sync for field devices, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance and update features.

Disclaimers & liability

The Service supports your security operations but does not replace your own supervision, judgement, or emergency procedures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and GuardTrail is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or misuse. On termination, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
